E-DSL (Ethernet over a Digital Subscriber Line) is an advanced technology used to obtain more bandwidth over existing copper telephone cabling.
Community Internet’s E-DSL will provide additional flexibility compared to the older style, conventional DSL as demonstrated by the ability to work over distances of 21,000 feet; the ability to operate over wire gauge changes and bridged taps on the telephone lines; and the ability to “fill” a binder without restriction. |
| Subscriber’s System Requirements for all E-DSL plans: Properly Conditioned Ordinary Telephone Line4; PC with minimum 166mhz processor running Windows 95, 98, NT4 w/SP6A, 2000, ME, XP, or qualifying MAC OS, 150 megabytes of HD space, and 32 megabytes of RAM, and available through Internet Additions Corporation: working E-DSL modem; USB port or Ethernet Card with RJ45 port; and applicable line filters. |
