*Real fur teddy bears made from recycled fur coats*
All my teddy bears are handmade from recycled fur coats, stoles, etc., and range in size from 6" to 14". The bears shown below are my original design, and have a somewhat smaller body, and slightly larger paws and feet. All the bears are fully jointed; weighted for a cuddlier feel; lined for durability; have premium glass eyes, and an embroidered nose and mouth. Paw and foot pads are made of genuine leather, and the left foot pad is initialed and dated by the bear artist who is a "lefty":) Some bears have special suede leather "paw prints" which have been individually hand sewn on. Each bear is unique and limited. Not intended as a child's toy.
I will make you a special memory teddy bear from your fur coat or stole -- cost will be $135 for each bear. Price will vary if the fur is difficult to work with. If you choose the "paw prints" for your teddy bear, add $50. Each bear comes with a special ribbon tied around the bears neck, in the buyers choice of color. Teddy Bear outfits are an additional cost. Bears have a signed and dated swing tag also. Buyer pays shipping costs.
Special order bears made from my supply of extra furs start at $150 depending on what type of fur is chosen. Email me to see what furs are available. Mink and rabbit fur are the most common, although I have worked with fox, beaver, curly lamb, muskrat, lynx, black seal, ermine, opossum, etc.
If you have an unwanted fur stole or coat, I will buy it from you. Price depends on the type and color of fur, and also the condition. Email or call me with questions.

Pillows can be made using the initials on the coat lining as shown in the first picture. Also shown is a picture of a cat/bear made using a faux leopard fur coat. The glass eyes were hand-painted a metallic green, and it has a jingle bell on the end of the tail.
