Keep your family safe from dying in a house fire with the following tips:
Check your smoke alarms every month.
Change the batteries in your smoke alarm every 6 months. (Do this along with the time change in the fall and in the spring.

Create a fire escape plan with your family. (Remember to have a meeting spot outside of your house.)
Practice your fire escape plan at least once a year.
