Burglary
The Platte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at Commonwealth Electric, 759 So. 33rd Avenue, Columbus, NE that took place the early morning hours of March 11, 2008. Suspect(s) entered the building and removed copper wire and checks. Total amount taken is estimated in excess of $2,700.00 with approximately $200.00 in damage.
Burglary
The Platte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that occurred at Simon House 3620 18th Street, Columbus, NE sometime between 6:00 P.M. July 17th and 9:20 A.M. July 18, 2007. Entry is believed to have been gained by prying a walk-in door. Once inside the suspect(s) entered a safe and removed keys and some cash.
Damage to the safe and loss of cash is estimated to be approximately $700.00
The incidents remains under investigation by the Platte County Sheriff’s Office. TheftThe Platte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft of a black tandem axel car trailer, Nebraska license 10X3118 from Columbus Steel, 3469 E. 21st Avenue. The trailer was reportably taken sometime between April 22, 2007 and May 29, 2007. Value is estimated at $2,425.00.
The incident remains under investigation by the Platte County Sheriff’s Office.
