High Country Solitude

This picture was adapted from a photograph taken by Dave Wolf, Alma realtor. Dave has a favorite camping spot high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The hiking boots belong to Harold Polak of Alma. High Country Solitude was a finalist in the Coats & Clark 1995 Golden Needle contest.

High Country Solitude Kit uses 62 colors of Anchor embroidery floss. Unframed, the design size on 11-count fabric is about 14" x 19". The picture uses 2 floss colors combined in many places, long stitches and outlining for added detail. Guaranteed--you can almost smell the boots!
