March 6 –

Bible point: Jesus says to love others as ourselves

Jesus tells about the Good Samaritan – Luke 10:25-37

Key Verse: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32)

 

March 13 –

Bible point: Jesus gives us hope of eternal life

Jesus raises Lazarus from the Dead – John 11:1-45

Key Verse: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies’” (John 11:25)

 

March 20 –

Bible point: Jesus, the Lamb of God, deserves our praise

Crowds welcome Jesus to Jerusalem – Psalm 118:19-29; Matthew 21:1-11

Key Verse: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive the power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” (Revelation 5:12b)

 

March 27 –

Bible point: Jesus is alive

Jesus rises from the dead – Matthew 27:27-56; 28:1-10

Key Verse: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

 

April 3 –

Bible point: Jesus gives us hope

Peter explains belief in Jesus – 1 Peter 1:3-9

Key Verse: “Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)

 

April 10 –

Bible point: God wants us to tell the world about Jesus

Jesus returns to heaven – Matthew 28:16-20; Acts 1:1-11

Key Verse: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

 

April 17 –

Bible point: Christians should treat each other with loving care

Christians care for one another – Acts 2:42-47; Psalm 23

Key Verse: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

 

April 24 –

Bible point: We share our faith in Jesus with words and actions

Steven forgives his accusers and they stone him – Acts 6:8-7:60

Key Verse: “But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15)

 

May 1 –

Bible point: God is the creator of heaven and earth

Paul teaches in Athens – Acts 17:16-31

Key Verse: “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.”  (Isaiah 40:28a)

 

May 8 –

Bible point: God’s power saves us by His grace

Paul explains Christians’ relationship with Christ – Ephesians 1:15-2:10

Key Verse: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9)

 

May 15 –

Bible point: God gives people different gifts for serving Him

Paul teaches about spiritual gifts – 1 Corinthians 12:4-27

Key Verse: “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10)
