ALUMNI TRIP NEWS!
The location of the trip has been changed from Africa to Nicaragua, due to rising airline costs. While the trip to Africa would have been such a rich and meaningful experience, so do I believe will be the trip to Central America! We will be working with people who literally live in “the dump.” They live with their extended family in tin hovels. Some of them never go outside of this dump their whole lives. This will be a trip to remember for all of us. Remember, if you have ever sponsored a youth mission trip or are a FEDS alumni or married to one, you are eligible to go on the trip. The cost will be much less than Africa and it will be one week, not two. So, if you are interested, please call Katie.
If you are headed for Nicaragua, please start your shots. You will need to begin the Hepatitis series soon. You also MUST send for your passport. Get ‘r done!!
Any questions, please call Katie at 564-1717.
Those of you signed up for the trip, who will be around on either August 10th or Labor Day weekend? Let me know, please!
Blessings,
Katie Claus

This prayer comes from the book A Kid’s Book of Devotions: Kindness. Pray with your family and talk about ways to share your kindness, to serve and how to live by the Golden Rule.
Dear Lord, Help me to remember that it is always my job to treat others with kindness and respect. Make the Golden Rule my rule and make Your Word my guidebook for the way I treat other people. Amen
Read Galatians 6:9-10
Blessing to You!
