NEW BOOKS

New fiction books at the library are: “16th Seduction” by James Patterson, “Walking on My Grave” by Carolyn Hart, “The Book of Summer” by Michelle Gable, “Secrets in Summer” by Nancy Thayer, “The Girl Who Knew Too Much” by Amanda Quick, “The Stars are Fire” by Anita Shreve, and “Heat Storm” by Richard Castle.

Two non-fiction books are : “The Magnolia Story” by Chip and Joanna Gaines and “ “The Vanishing American Adult” by Ben Sasse.

A new CD is “Showdown” by Louis L’Amour.

Books for children are “I Will Love You” by Alyssa Satin Capucilli and

“Pickles the Blue-eyed Javelina and “Pickles Hits the Streets” by Candace Lea.

There are quite a few names for the Library Lady in the jar but we could use a few more. Contest will end June 13, 2017.

Don’t forget that the library is weeding out the video section. There are still some audio books (cassettes) that need to be weeded. These all need a good home.

Does anyone have a use for videos for adults and children? For a small donation you can take some home with you. Check at the library to see which ones have been withdrawn from the collection.

New children's books are ordered each month.

The library subscribes to the Cedar Rapids Press, and we also subscribe to the Nance County Journal and the Albion News.
